Collingwood Arts Precinct

01_Breathe_CAP_0262_Edited

It’s a very rare opportunity to work on a project in your own neighbourhood that seeks to talk to and engage with the local community through arts and culture, especially one of this significance. Collingwood Arts Precinct is intended to “last forever, a cultural precinct in perpetuity”. The project is revitalizing the former Collingwood TAFE site into a major new contemporary arts precinct. Based on an internationally successful social enterprise model, the project reimagines a vacant 6,407 sqm heritage site in Melbourne’s inner north, providing affordable rents, easing financial pressures and assisting in the production of quality work and artistic excellence.

Our role was to seek initiatives to exceed minimum compliance with regards to energy, water, waste and materials, targeting maximum performance via financially viable initiatives.
