Deakin Burwood Student Accommodation

Finding Infinity was engaged as the environmental consultant for this 520-bed student accommodation building at Deakin University’s Burwood Campus, designed by Hayball. It is designed to have affordable dorm style and studio style student accommodation, with the studio rooms to double as short term hotel style accommodation for visiting Deakin staff and lecturers. We were engaged to provide energy, water & waste advice from writing the initial environmental brief through to construction. The project is targeting net-positive energy, water neutrality, zero waste and minimized embodied energy.
