Renewable Roadtrip – Australia

PastedGraphic-1

In 2009 an unannounced journey across the vast land of Australia was launched in reaction to addressing the need for change, to invigorate people about renewable energy. A 1978 Mercedes Benz was converted to run on waste vegetable oil. Oliver Clifton, Eyal Halamish & Natalie Bradburn then drove from Adelaide to Sydney, landing in the newspaper, and creating documentary photographs, experimenting, exploring and testing the alternative options to crude oil. They visited a biogas plant in Sydney, a wind farm in Hepburn, and solar projects in Adelaide and Newcastle to communicate our vision of a world based on infinite resources.
