Dandenong Masonic Hall

Adaptive reuse of the Masonic Hall building in Dandenong with Six Degrees, creating a new regional art gallery. The heritage listed building required minimal intervention, with the majority of the building being retained and a side wing added. The environmental principles included: minimal intervention within the budget, simplicity, minimising demands, communication of principles with occupants and visitors, reduction of operational expenses, water neutrality and zero waste strategies.
